What this page grants
For paid game-asset outputs generated through your MotifDeck account, this product policy permits use in personal projects, Game Jams and commercial game projects, subject to the applicable plan and model terms in effect when the output is created.
This page covers MotifDeck-generated output only. It does not grant rights in your uploads, another person’s characters, third-party brands, fonts, stock assets, game engines or materials that appear in an output.
Before you use an asset
Review an output before release. Generated results may be similar to existing work and are not guaranteed to be unique, exclusive, non-infringing or suitable for every game store, platform or territory.
Keep a record of the references, instructions and output version you choose to use. That makes it easier to review a concern later, but it is not a substitute for a clearance process where your project needs one.
Your references stay your responsibility
Only upload references that you own or are allowed to use for this purpose. Do not ask MotifDeck to copy a protected character, trademark, game asset or identifiable person without the rights or consent needed for that use.
You are responsible for the source material you provide and for the way you use the resulting asset. MotifDeck does not verify that your reference, prompt or final game release clears every third-party right.
Plan and model boundaries
Plan benefits and the right to use an output are different questions. The applicable product plan and model terms control any additional boundary for the output you created. A subscription does not make every task free: each paid generation still uses its confirmed Credit cost.
The commercial-use boundary for Free outputs, plus any plan- or model-specific variation, requires final legal review. Until that is published, this page does not make an unverified commercial-use promise for Free outputs.
No exclusivity promise
MotifDeck does not promise that an output is one of a kind or that no similar result will be generated for someone else. Do not register, enforce or market an asset as exclusively yours unless you have obtained advice appropriate to your project and jurisdiction.
What you may not assume
This page is not a copyright registration, a legal opinion, an indemnity, a guarantee against claims or permission to use someone else’s material. If you receive a credible complaint about an asset, pause the disputed use and seek suitable professional advice before continuing.
Formal license review
The final asset license must identify the contracting company, jurisdiction, applicable model terms, Free-output rules and any required notices before production launch. This plain-language policy is intentionally narrower than a finished legal agreement and does not reduce mandatory rights.
